POSITION: PART-TIME

COMPENSATION: $20/HR

(Introductory pay subject to change based on performance during or after the 90 day probationary period)

WORKING HOURS: M-SUN

DIRECT SUPERVISOR: MELISSA J. KASARDA

The expectation for this position is that the RV Administrator & Transporter be flexible and have open availability subject to any bookings, or is capable of arranging coverage so renters always have an on-call person to speak to with any concerns or questions.

The RV Administrator & Transporter is a critical role in the Emjaye Outdoors department. We are looking for a highly organized individual to conduct RV drop offs, pick ups, walkthroughs, and check-ins.In this role, you will be prepping RV rentals and performing basic maintenance as needed, etc. To ensure success, this individual should possess a comprehensive understanding of scheduling practices and demonstrable experience in a similar role, as well as a comprehensive understanding of Emjaye Outdoors. A quality RV Administrator and Transporter will be someone who takes proactive steps to initiate a seamless booking process.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Relationship management and strong collaboration skills

• Proficient in clear, concise written communication with a strong understanding of

written English and correct grammar and punctuation

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and deal with uncertainty and change

• Strong attention to detail

• Availability to work evenings, weekends, holidays and special events as needed

• Ability to lift 50+ pounds and/or more with assisted devices

• Ability to stand and work on their feet for extended periods of time

• Valid Driver’s License

• Ability to drive the following for potentially long distances:

2019 Grand Design Imagine Trailer (2400BH)

2021 Coachmen APEX Nano (194BHS)

2022 Forest River GEO PRO Toy Hauler (19FBTH)

2021 Forest River Rockwood GEO PRO (G12RK)

• Perform routine inspections of company vehicles and report any items in need of servicing.

• Experience with and ability to drive and maneuver trailers, of various lengths, over short and long distances as well as safely operate company vehicles while trailering RVs including maneuvering through narrow passageways and negotiating narrow turns.

RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDED BUT NOT LIMITED TO)

RV CATERING SERVICES

The ability to read and comprehend catering orders in order to plan with the direct supervisor for food and set-up components.

Maintenance of food quality and execution that meets Emjaye Inspired standards.

Set up and arrangement of events; i.e. the ability to be mindful and implement artistic skill when preparing food components in relation to event location, arrangement sizing and display, allergens, themes and color schemes, etc.

Ensuring client satisfaction and maintaining relationship(s) with said or new clients while reflecting Emjaye Inspired mission statement.

Wearing gloves when necessary and always having clean hands.

Appropriate attire: See FOH DRESS CODE POLICY.

Proper food handling and temperature of all products in accordance with compliance regulations.

Overall safety and sanitation both for the working space(s) and on your person.

COMMUNICATION

The ability to work well in a team environment with a self-starter, positive and cooperative attitude/disposition.

Maintenance of inventory and communication with direct supervisor for any needs.

The ability to communicate respectfully, promptly, and effectively with the Emjaye Inspired Team & with clients directly.

Flexibility and willingness to work with other members of the team for 24 hour coverage.

On Call during all rentals to answer questions or troubleshoot issues.

Comfortability and availability for potential communications outside of working hours as well as being included in a group chat with the E.I. team for event prep, concerns and questions, general updates, etc.

The ability to collaborate with the existing team when devising tasks and schedules.

Attendance for all staff meetings; i.e. bringing suggestions and room for improvement.

Communication with Client Services and Sales Coordinator Person to maintain real time knowledge of all scheduling of rentals:

Pick ups, Drop offs, Deliveries

Maintaining a calendar (Google) for each RV’s availability

Maintaining platform calendars for RV availability, seasonal specials, and blackout dates (e.g. maintenance, Burning Man, company use)

Maintain master rental calendar (E.I. website)

CREATIVITY / MARKETING & SOCIAL MEDIA

Work in collaboration with the team to develop marketing across all platforms, in addition to introducing and developing new marketing ideas. In tandem, the capability to provide creative ideas and concepts for marketing development and outreach.

The ability to provide ideas and assortments for social media account(s).

The ability to upsell products and services to all clients.

Demonstration of skill in time management, accuracy, creativity and consistency.

Familiarity with the platforms and rental streams to leverage them for marketing.

MISC.

Keen attention to detail and the ability to work in an expeditious manner without compromising quality.

The ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.

Maintaining a flexible schedule dependent on bookings.

Physical strength and competence; i.e. the ability to stand for long periods of time and the ability to lift 50 pounds & the ability to move freely in, out, and around the RVs.

The ability to perform assigned support tasks given by a direct supervisor.

Comfortability with driving Emjaye Inspired company vehicles & set-up of off-site events or drop-offs.

Prep RVs for scheduled rentals:

Checking and filling tires

Filling propane tanks

Managing inventory

Equipping units with potential add-ons purchased by renters

Checking all systems are properly functioning prior to booking

Complete all necessary paperwork (e.g. all platform related paperwork for rentals, filing and organizing accordingly, etc.)

Maintain RV trackers.

Work with the supervisor to schedule any needed maintenance.

Update manuals as needed.

Clean RVs after each booking:

Inventory contents and replace as needed

Perform basic maintenance as needed

Properly store RVs after each booking

Launder linens/coordinate laundry drops

Manage dumping and cleaning of tanks (when needed)

Other duties as assigned.
