SAFETY SPECIALIST II (SR-22) [2 vacancies]

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT :

Equivalent to graduation from a regionally-accredited college or university with a bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, or a related field.

Education obtained outside of the United States must be comparable to a degree earned at a regionally-accredited college/university in the United States. In order to receive credit for the education, a foreign credential evaluation (FCE) must be provided. EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT : Three years of experience in industrial safety and accident prevention activities.

Such experience must have demonstrated knowledge of: industrial accident hazards and methods of correction and prevention; industrial safety devices and equipment; safety education and publicity media, principles, methods, and practices; and safety inspection principles, practices, and procedures. Such experience must also have demonstrated: the ability to plan, execute, and coordinate an effective safety and accident prevention program; and instruct others in safety techniques, causes of accidents, and accident prevention.

LICENSE REQUIREMENT :

Possession of a valid appropriate driver's license (automobile/Type 3), prior to appointment.   EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE EVALUATION :

In addition to meeting the above minimum qualifications, your application will be further evaluated.
