Data Analyst
What does a successful Data Analyst of Education do at Fiserv?
As a successful Data Analyst on our Education team, you will play an integral role in a variety of analyses to support strategic business objectives. You will generate meaningful insights through data mining and analysis to ultimately improve our client delivery and servicing operations while driving client satisfaction and financial results.
What You Will Do
Communicate with internal and external clients to understand their data and reporting needs.
Translate critical time-sensitive customer requirements into solutions that will provide reports, data extracts, etc as requested by the client.
Use analytical skills to select and manipulate data present data in various formats, such as Excel, .TXT, .CSV, etc.
Prepare simple to medium complexity queries to produce the required result.
What You Will Need To Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field.
US citizen capable of obtaining security clearance with the Federal Government.
Self- motivated quick learner who understands relational databases.
SQL skills and be comfortable with different types of joins, sub queries and analytical functions in SQL.
Experience in data analysis and data driven methodologies.
What Would Be Great To Have
Ability to work creatively and independently in a problem-solving environment.
Ability to manage multiple simultaneous work streams and shift / adjust priorities to achieve optimal results as well as meet deadlines.
Experience in analysis packages and programming languages including Python, SQL, R or SAS to manipulate data and draw insights from large datasets.
Experience interacting with clients of all levels to review expected outputs, applicability to business challenges, and data veracity.
