Position Summary:
The Property Compliance Team Lead oversees the day-to-day work product of an assigned team, as well as maintaining an individual portfolio. They coordinate with the Property Compliance Manager/Property Compliance Director to develop goals and objectives for the team. Provides guidance, support and coaching to team members to meet the goals and objectives of Progress Residential and the Property Compliance department.
Essential Functions:
Responsible for managing all property compliance activity within assigned portfolio.
Direct oversight of assigned Property Compliance team members’ workload, work product and other work-related activities.
Primary resource for assigned team members’ training, day-to-day questions/escalations, items of focus, goals and operational issues.
Provides input to Property Compliance Manager for team member’s performance evaluations.
Assists Property Compliance Manager with attendance/timecards for assigned team members.
Works closely with Property Compliance team members and cross-functional teams to develop efficient work flows, Standard Operating Procedures and automation initiatives.
Assists in creating Property Compliance/HOA training material and training employees.
Resolves of Property Compliance/HOA legal enforcement and/or delinquency and all violation matters.
Works closely with Corporate Accounting on HOA accounting matters, including but not limited to audits, bond reporting, fine payables/waivers, resident charge back/waivers.
Provides regular reports to Property Compliance Manager on team’s performance, market status, open high priority matters and other HOA related activity.
Ensures that HOA operations are maintained in an effective, up to date and accurate manner.
Utilizes exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills to develop a strong working relationship with HOAs/municipalities and team members.
Assist Homeowner Associations/municipalities with problem resolution.
Responsible for resolving escalated issues from HOAs/municipalities and Progress Residential market teams.
Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma Required
Minimum 3 years’ experience working with Homeowner’s Associations
Proficiency in Salesforce and/or Yardi preferred
Excellent computer and Microsoft Office skills
Organized with strong attention to detail
Demonstrates ability to take initiative, work independent and a self-starter
Effective time management skills while managing multiple projects and priorities
Ability to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment
Effective oral and written communication skills
Exhibits good judgment and decision making ability
Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
