Position Overview :
The Veterinary Technician supports hospital operations by providing dedicated quality veterinary care and exceptional service to our patients and clients. You will assist in providing patient care for hospitalized patients, during surgical procedures, and throughout the appointment process. Additional responsibilities include monitoring anesthesia and recovery of surgery patients, pack+prep of surgical instruments, rotating on-call duties, and maintaining accurate medical records.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years experience in Veterinary Medicine
Previous experience in a veterinary surgical position preferred.
RVT preferred, PVT accepted, Veterinary Assistants with previous technician experience considered
Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community.
Excellent client communication and education skills
Pay Range $24 — $30 USD PetVet is an equal opportunity employer.
