This is a full-time, direct placement for Market Contractors, Ltd.
Job Summary:
Our company is seeking a Construction Superintendent to oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. As a Construction Superintendent, you will be responsible for supervising construction teams, managing subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the planning, coordination, and execution of construction projects, including scheduling, budgeting, and quality control.
Supervise construction teams and subcontractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to required quality standards.
Manage project budgets and timelines, including tracking expenses, monitoring progress, and adjusting schedules as necessary to ensure project completion on time and within budget.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, including conducting safety inspections, providing safety training, and promoting a safety culture on the job site.
Communicate with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that project requirements are met and any issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Maintain accurate records of project progress, including daily logs, inspection reports, and other documentation.
Conduct regular meetings with project teams and subcontractors to review progress, identify issues, and develop solutions to keep the project on track.
Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment to the job site.
Keep up-to-date with the latest construction technologies and techniques to improve project efficiency and quality.
Requirements
Education and Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field; equivalent experience will be considered.
5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent or related position.
Strong knowledge of construction processes, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
Experience managing budgets and schedules for construction projects.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in construction.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
