Maintenance Technician

We are currently hiring a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will be assisting our team in maintaining over 20 facilities located around San Diego County. If you’re hard-working and dedicated there is room to grow in this position!

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30am-4pm

Salary Range: $25-28 per hour (based on tenure)

Who you are:

Task-oriented individual comfortable working on your own

Can-do attitude with a teamwork approach to getting work done

Excited by a myriad of different things to accomplish with each day being busy but different

Desire to work in an environment mission-focused on serving persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities

A typical day will include:

Supporting building and grounds maintenance of multiple facilities

Tracking service requests through a web-based program

Identifying root causes or recommending best practices for ongoing issues if not immediately identified

Performing multiple physical maintenance tasks such as: repairing leaks, repairing drywall, painting, minor plumbing replacement, outlet/plug/bulb replacement, digging trenches, repairing fences

What you’ll need to be successful:

HS Diploma or GED

Physically capable of performing a range of tasks; including moving and lifting equipment and materials up to 100 pounds; ability and willingness to work in adverse weather

Valid CA Driver’s License

Experience in residential and/or commercial building maintenance tasks

We’d love it if you:

Had experience with using computer systems to track service requests

Had professional drywall and painting experience
