The nurse will perform infusions, wound care, and provide other skilled services to the patient as ordered by a physician or APP. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills to assist with physician and interdisciplinary team member communications. The Licensed Vocational Nurse will:
Perform delegated tasks under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
Administer medications and treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for patient care
Perform diagnostic tests and physical examinations
Monitor patients’ health
Document appropriately and in a timely manner
Provide exceptional patient care and support
Properly and safely operate medical equipment
Educate and advocate for the patients
Help to maintain inventory of supplies
Take initiative and make independent decisions when required.
Accept direction and requests from patients or physicians.
Be qualified and confident to act swiftly in emergencies and work efficiently.
Embrace flexibility and patience to work in a variety of living environments.
Requirements:
A current license to practice nursing in the state required
A minimum of one year of recent nursing experience
Dependable vehicle, valid driver’s license, and vehicular insurance
