Vice President National Sales

What you get to do:
The primary function of the Vice President of National Sales is generate and close new business in the general staffing industry.
Expected to qualify, and maintain a database of prospects
Drives the sales effort within assigned portfolio of accounts
This will be accomplished by analyzing the client’s business situation and as a results, consultatively selling the right Randstad solution.
Secure meetings and presenting to C-level and senior management prospects in the areas of Procurement, Operations and Human Resources.
Plans and directs activities enterprise wide which includes pursuit strategy, coordinator of corporate and field resources, formal presentations and negotiations.
Position requires experience in, and willingness to, cold-call and generate leads consistently.
Work with peers in account management. Ensuring successful implementation of all business sold is a primary function of this role.
Responsible for contract negotiation and administration.
Responsible for working in sales tools and documentation related to performance metrics
Responsible for RFP completion, as necessary.
The candidate must be comfortable working both in a team environment and working independently.
Approximately 25% travel required within the U.S.
What you need to bring:
4-year college degree (preferably business related), advanced degree or comparable work experience a plus
7 years of proven performance in outside national and/or strategic sales
Must have previous sales experience in staffing industry or similar services industry
Must have successful experience meeting or exceeding budgeted gross margin targets
Must be a self-starter experienced in targeting mid to large-sized companies with the primary goal of obtaining and closing new opportunities in administrative/clerical, call center or light industrial staff augmentation arena.
Must be able to think strategically and work within a lengthy sales cycle while remaining task and goal-oriented.
Previous experience selling multiple business lines in multiple geographic regions is required
Demonstrates ability to negotiate with sensitivity and assertiveness while not letting go of own objective
Professional sales training with Sandler Sales Training preferred
Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives
Proven track record of above-quota achievement in a highly competitive industry

The base salary range for this position is $103,721.00 - $163,770.00.

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
