AltaStaff is a staffing agency currently looking for a Bilingual Member Engagement Specialist (Spanish/English) for one of our Managed Care partners.
Location: This role is fully remote. Must pick up equipment in Downtown Chicago.
Pay: $20.00 hourly
Schedule: 9:00am – 5:30pm CST
Position Purpose: This position is responsible for supporting the organization’s goals of building enrollment through outreach for new programs, obtaining health needs screenings, proactive follow-up on inactivity, educating members on plan benefits and services and troubleshooting any technological issues (aka, downloading app, logins/passwords).
Job Responsibilities:
Utilizing engagement strategies to increase health care adherence and reduce barriers to care.
Make outbound or receive inbound calls from new and inactive members within the rising risk population to inform and assist them to maximize the benefits available to them
Complete HRA screenings to assess eligibility for enhanced benefits.
Assist members to take advantage of additional benefits available by educating members on enhanced services that are available and walking them through simple processes.
Educate members on utilization of self-management programs
Identify and overcome barriers in order for members to complete needed health screenings, obtain needed services
Review member profiles prior to outreach to identify opportunities for members to become eligible for additional benefits.
Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to ensure department and company goals are met and exceeded.
Review and analyze data for call reports, make necessary adjustments in order to obtain information.
Job Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent Required
Must be fluent in Spanish and English
Must have 2 Years + of high volume Call Center (ideally Healthcare) experience
