Summary : The Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for the review and analysis of LSPI’s Global Supply Chain and all associated supply chain systems, projects, and processes through established metrics to make recommendations on cost effective solutions and resource allocation. Assists with creating and developing advanced network optimization models and identifying and implementing business process improvement initiatives.
Role is not limited to the above listed responsibilities and may include other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities :
Assists with the development of supply chain network optimization solutions utilizing network design technologies, including but not limited to: cost to serve analyses, greenfield analyses, demand analyses, safety stock optimizations, and transportation optimizations.
Model scenarios and establish baselines to simulate and assess cost effectiveness of results.
Design, and evaluate the data structure and flow for Supply Chain Network Optimization Models for effectiveness and efficiency.
Build and implement macros to cleanse and validate large sets of complex data.
Develop and document analytics group processes and work instructions.
May provide training and support to supply chain team members in effective use of planning tools and systems and provides expertise in resolving internal user systems issues.
Continually assess existing supply chain business process and systems and provides recommendations on alternative solutions to improve the overall customer experience.
Collaborates with Internal Customers, Finance & Accounting, IT, and other functions to identify opportunities to improve the systems and processes.
Lead business projects and initiatives as assigned.
Partners with management and key users to identify, evaluate, and implement solutions that leverage technology to meet the needs of the business.
Design, enhance and maintain reports and tools that enable identification of opportunity areas and facilitate identification of root causes.
Support supply chain infrastructure evaluation such as inventory management and global warehouses.
Represent Supply Chain in inter-departmental communications and acquisitions, as needed.
Build or publish metrics reports and communicate to the appropriate stakeholders.
Requirements :
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
Typically requires a minimum of 3-5 years’ relevant experience.
Strong working knowledge of COUPA, SAP and Microsoft Office.
Team player focused on contributing to the organization in achieving results.
Able to work with minimal guidance and follow through on commitments.
