Job Details

Responsibilities:

1. Oversee all financial operations of the company including inventory, manufacturing, distribution, and cost accounting.

2. Implement and maintain all necessary financial controls and ensure their effectiveness.

3. Ensure that all financial transactions are properly recorded, filed, and reported in compliance with GAAP.

4. Prepare, analyze, and present financial reports (income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements) in an accurate and timely manner; clearly communicate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

5. Manage the month end close process, ensuring timeliness and accuracy.

6. Collaborate with executive leadership to develop financial strategies across all aspects of the business.

7. Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.

8. Communicate financial metrics to senior management and provide advice on how to increase revenue and reduce costs.

9. Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner.

10. Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

2. Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

3. Minimum 7 years of experience, with at least 3 years of progressive leaders

4. Strong working knowledge of detailed, inventory, manufacturing, distribution, cost accounting, GAAP, and month end close.

5. Proven experience in finance management and financial forecasting.

6. Ability to strategize and solve problems.

7. Strong leadership and organizational skills.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

9. An analytical mind, comfortable with numbers.

10. Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office Suite, with particular strength in Excel.
