I am honored to serve as the medical director for Sound Anesthesia’s practice at Banner University Medical Center. I have been part of the Sound Anesthesia team for the past year and take immense pride in the anesthesia program we have built and serve as a model of success well into the future. People
We are seeking a team of highly motivated, clinically skilled anesthesiologists to become part of our care team model practice.
We have a talented group of mostly fellowship-trained physicians and some of the strongest CRNAs in the Valley.
Our team consists of 16 anesthesiologists and 39 CRNAs.
Sound Anesthesia is composed of a rich tapestry of clinicians hailing from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds, each of whom relies on and learns from one another in our shared commitment to patient care.
We foster close collaboration with our surgical and perioperative colleagues, ensuring that we collectively provide the highest standard of anesthesia care for the Phoenix community.
Our team enjoys high retention rates and collaboratively ensures coverage for time off.
Practice
Banner University Medical Center is a nationally recognized and busy 733-bed academic Level I Trauma Center and is one of Arizona’s leading hospitals.
Physicians act in a supervisory role but enjoy a good amount of clinical work performed independently. W2 or 1099 contract options are available.
Compensation is guaranteed at $425,000 for W2 or $442,500 for 1099. You can pick up extra shifts for extra pay.
A $25,000 quality bonus and sign-on bonus are available.
8 weeks of scheduled time off annually.
Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, life, and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability coverage, a 401k plan with a matching component, paid medical malpractice insurance, tail coverage, and an annual CME allowance.
