The ideal candidate for the Engineering Technician position will fit the following:
Provides technical support to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers for the development, fabrication, test, and site installation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or software products or systems.
Assists engineers in assembling, modifying, debugging, and testing prototype products.
Maintains laboratories, tools, equipment, and products.
Able to design electronic or electro-mechanical equipment to adapt, test, and install the company’s products.
Assists engineers in assembling, modifying, debugging, and testing prototype products.
Provides a high level of technical support to electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers for the development, fabrication, test, and site installation of electrical, electronic, mechanical, or software products or systems.
Maintains laboratories, tools, equipment, and products.
A specialist in the field with fifteen years or equivalent experience, serving as an independent contributor, a technical consultant to the professional staff, a mentor to developing apprentices/entry level staff, or a leader of non-exempt employees.
Able to work independently while also developing innovative methods or otherwise improving of a range of technical fields.
Security Clearance Requirements:
Current/active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of time
Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer
Ability for clear communication with co-workers, management and customers, which may involve delivering presentations
