General Duties:
Supports the Project Manager, Superintendent, Estimators, and other project team members in the preconstruction efforts to ensure the accomplishment of the service objectives and a seamless transition into the construction phase.
Coordinates with the Project Manager and Superintendent on all pre-planning efforts to ensure all aspects of the project are addressed prior to mobilization and throughout the construction process resulting in professional project management.
Assists the Project Manager and Superintendent by reviewing and monitoring the project budget, construction costs, and other financials resulting in the accomplishment of the project objectives and profitability.
Manages project milestones by developing, managing, and updating the project schedule in conjunction with the superintendent to ensure the project schedules are achieved.
Oversees quality control efforts to support the Quality Control program, which will ensure project quality objectives are completed.
Works with the Superintendent to ensure company Environmental, Storm Water, and safety programs are implemented and managed in accordance with our policies and procedures.
Assists the Project Manager and Superintendent to implement all required risk management policies and procedures resulting in managed risk for the company with every project.
Cultivates new and existing business relationships by actively engaging in client pursuits, RFP’s, and project interviews.
Responsible for the preparation, submission, and distribution of requests for information related to the project.
Responsible to obtain required submittals and shop drawings and review them in accordance with the contract documents.
Responsible to lead the project documentation effort including drawing As-builts, Operation and Maintenance manuals as well as Punch lists.
Supports all closeout efforts in a timely manner by archiving project information in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Minimum Experience Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Construction Management or Engineering Equivalent programs of study.
Minimum 0-5 Years Experience in the Construction Industry
