The Head of Product Management will define and lead the strategy and execution of Brightree’s software products as part of the ResMed SaaS portfolio. This role is responsible for leading end-to-end product innovation processes from ideation through product/feature launch. Accountable for supporting growing revenue, increasing operational efficiency, defining product roadmaps and executing implementation plans to get the right solution, to the right customer, at the right price, time, quality, cost and complexity. He/she will represent a deep understanding of the needs of the customer and the market and drive requirements into the product strategy, vision and roadmap. They will be the face of the product, own the product roadmap and evangelise the product internally and externally. They will be a great influencer and team player while understanding the wider Brightree strategy and direction and how it all fits with the global ResMed strategy.

Let's talk about the role

Understand customer and market needs. Contribute customer, product and market knowledge to inform decisions on product vision and strategy

Translate market requirements into technical requirements for engineering teams

Develop and align the product roadmap with the commercial and product strategy

Participation in face-to-face activities with customers including advisory boards, customer visits and presenting at trade shows

Create, define, articulate, and own short term and long range plans focused on product vision & strategy for current and future Brightree solutions

Analyze needs of customers to build the product vision and strategy for the platform

Build and maintain a roadmap that is aligned with the vision and strategy

Understand and analyze market offerings and competitor capabilities

Adhere to agile product management methodology for roadmap definition, documentation, communication, and governance

Own the end to end commercial success of the product or category –

Define and track key performance indicators for feature/product launch

Collaborate with Customer Experience and Customer Success teams to ensure successful feature/product launch

Partnering across the broader business to create new products while leveraging internal assets and other ResMed SaaS products to ensure adherence to corporate strategy

Define, articulate and manage product requirements through the team. Ensuring effective communication with all stakeholders in particular Engineering management, sales, marketing, finance and executives

Lead product governance on a weekly, monthly and quarterly basis.

Be accountable for the delivery of the product throughout the software life cycle

Be the voice of the product internally and externally, including customers, partners, and conference/industry events where detailed product knowledge is required

Create, maintain and communicate product roadmaps; perform and document change management in lock step with process

Adopt rigor in all activity including use of tools, processes and methodologies such as JIRA and Agile

Balance competitive advantage, customer need and pure innovation

Act as an effective change agent for the business

Excellent oral communication and presentation skills. Presenting solutions to an audience, in meetings, to stakeholders, 1-1 and to executive teams

Demonstrated success working in a matrix environment with Brightree and ResMed SaaS stakeholders.

Deep knowledge in healthcare: HME/DME home infusion pharmacy or home health preferred

Demonstrated successful experience building and launching healthcare SaaS products in enterprise software companies

Demonstrated success in leading teams in remote/hybrid environments with a high level of engagement and positive employee experience.

An accomplished people leader who can effectively develop and retain top product management talent and lead cross-function teams.

Self-motivated driver with ability to roll up sleeves to get things done.

May travel up to 30% of the time
