Our client, a financial technology investment firm is looking to add a Director of Client Services to join their team in the United States. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in driving and supervising the sales objectives and initiatives of their organization. They will also be tasked with suggesting improvements to their products or services to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales potential.
Responsibilities:
Manage and nurture relationships with private equity fund clients, fostering their growth within the company.
Implement the company's business strategies effectively to achieve set objectives.
Attain growth targets, meet sales objectives, and actively oversee sales programs.
Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to expand the company's customer base and ensure a strong market presence.
Set sales objectives by forecasting and establishing annual sales quotas for different regions and territories.
Estimate project budgets, expected sales volumes, and profits for both existing and prospective clients.
Identify emerging markets and shifts in the market landscape while staying abreast of competing products and industry trends.
Cultivate enduring customer relationships by regularly visiting clients, understanding their needs, and providing appropriate solutions.
Collaborate with the product team in discussions regarding project implementation, refining service models tailored to specific clients, and establishing project timelines.
Work closely with sales, marketing, and AFS teams to provide comprehensive support to clients.
Provide regular updates on sales activities through weekly reports.
Maintain accurate records of client accounts and activities, documenting all customer interactions.
Present sales, revenue, expense reports, and realistic forecasts to the management team.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Administration, Marketing, or related fields.
Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing, or business development, preferably in the finance or commercial sector.
Experience in fund operations, relationship management, or business development is highly desirable.
Comprehensive industry knowledge with substantial exposure to client interactions.
Strategic thinker with a results-oriented approach and strong analytical skills.
Demonstrated business acumen, effective leadership, and proficient project management abilities.
Self-motivated, quick learner, open-minded, with exceptional interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills.
