The Accounting Clerk’s responsibilities are administrative and clerical in nature. Duties include keying accounts receivable and payable transactions, account reconciliation, processing sales invoices, and communicating with branch personnel to facilitate timely month-end close.
Full-time on-site position. $20 – $22 per hour or DOE.

1-2 years previous accounting experience or related admin experience is preferred. Moving industry experience is a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Outlook. Adept and comfortable at quickly learning new systems and processes.
Specific responsibilities include:
• Audit and key customer invoices to appropriate general ledger codes.
• Key accounts payable invoices from various vendors and submit for approval process
• Create billings for military service member moves
• Reconcile agency payments received against customer AR ledger for accuracy. This involves locating discrepancies and investigating differences.
• Perform basic office, receptionist and clerical duties as needed.
• Post and review daily incoming cash deposits into accounting system.
• Perform ad hoc duties as requested by Accounting Manager and/or CFO.
Education requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education is a plus.
Schedule is 40 hours, Monday – Friday 8 AM – 5 PM. There is some flexibility regarding start and end times. This is an in-office position. There are no provisions for remote or hybrid work at this time.
Any offer of employment is contingent upon a satisfactory pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Work location: Portland, OR 97223. Reliably commute or planning to relocate to corporate office in Tigard. No hybrid or remote options are available at this time.
