What would you do at Ascend?

Ascend’sHead of Marketing will run Marketing with a focus on deep domain knowledge. Helping us build a brand that is synonymous with Accounts Payable Automation expertise. You will collaborate with our Sales, Success and Product Management teams to ensure the successful growth of our Accounts Payable Automation and Payments technologies.

Your day-to-day would include:

Direct management of Ascends Marketing function with a focus growth. This includes 1 FTE and many contract resources across design, advertising, and operations.

Developing positioning and messaging, creating and promoting content to a small TAM, and sharing our message via online and in-person channels.

Assess, manage and build the operational infrastructure to efficiently run, operate and report on the Marketing function.

Change agent for Marketing at Ascend, working directly with senior leadership to scale the department and company.

What is Ascend looking for in a candidate?

Bachelors Degree

At least 6 years of B2B SaaS Marketing experience with 2 years in a direct management role.

Experience in product positioning, narrative, case studies, and development across channels like blogs, email campaigns, and event presentations

Strong sense of urgency, attention to detail, ability to prioritize and a GSD attitude.

Demonstrated ability to delivery high quality work while managing multiple projects.

Understanding of Accounts Payable and / or Payments Issuance is a huge plus
