Position: Senior DevOps Engineer
Location: San Jose,CA
At Zscaler, we're on a mission to make the internet safe for every user, anywhere. We seek a seasoned Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in deploying and maintaining managed and in-house applications, CI/CD and other development cycle tools, metrics and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to influence the availability of Unified Experience Platform, and significantly impact our global customer base.
Responsibilities - What You’ll Do
Develop and maintain automation for deploying applications on public cloud (AWS, GCP and Azure)
Develop and maintain CICD pipeline solutions on platforms such as ArgoCD, Jenkins
Develop and deploy application tooling: logging, monitoring and reporting tools such as Grafana, LogStash etc.
Maintain and monitor containerized applications on Kubernetes.
Familiarity with CDN
Support and maintain Zscaler products on the cloud
Deploy Infrastructure that meets compliance requirements such as CIS, STIG
Qualifications/Your Background
5+ experience with cloud platforms: preferably AWS.
5+ years of experience with open source projects, Linux operating systems, scripting languages and Python.
3+ years of experience on CICD platforms such as Jenkins
2+ years of experience on Kubernetes platforms
FedRamp ready: US citizenship required
Strong communication skills.
Ability to collaborate with design teams early on with an eye towards optimal physical deployment.
Familiarity with Git - branching and workflows
Code scanning tools - SAST and SCA.
Setting up code coverage measurements and unit test parsing using Junit.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Zscaler’s salary ranges are benchmarked and are determined by role and level. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations and could be higher or lower based on a multitude of factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
The base salary range listed for this full-time position excludes commission/ bonus/ equity (if applicable) + benefits.
Base Pay Range
$140,250 — $165,000 USD
