As the Regional Vice President, Operations , you will supervise and develop site directors and principals providing the resources needed to ensure the success of our schools and programs to include the consistent safety and security of all students and staff.
II Responsibilities Include:
Lead and execute division, region, and school goals, ensuring timely initiatives, resource coordination, and accountability.
Provide leadership and management for strategic shifts and day-to-day challenges.
Establish and maintain professional relationships with executive and board level district personnel to meet the needs of internal and external stakeholders.
Train and support site directors and principals in developing relationships with key district personnel and communities to enhance the company’s image, services, and enrollment.
Oversee financial objectives, budgets, and major expenditures of the regional sites.
Train site directors and principals to exceed budget expectations and ensure compliance with fiscal business plans.
Monitor and address operational budget variances through regular review of monthly financial summaries.
Develop, monitor, and act upon key performance objectives and indicators to ensure successful financial performance.
Ensure data accuracy and relevant reporting to district customers. Implement school action plans based on results from data metrics.
Lead the development of new start-up programs in the region. Provide on-site support, guidance, and training for successful integration into Ombudsman culture and methods of operation.
Create management and organizational plans for the assigned region. Collaborate directly with site directors and principals to develop annual operating plans and activities aligned with the protection and growth of current business, customer service, and Ombudsman goals.
Act as a bridge between field leadership and Chancelight offices. Ensure effective communication of all Chancelight directives, company policies, plans, goals, and special instructions to the field.
Collaborate with Chancelight departments such as IT, Facilities, Finance, and Business Development to ensure successful strategy implementation. Partner with Human Resources and Recruitment for talent acquisition, staffing plans, performance reviews, and staff development. Offer guidance and support for school personnel matters as needed.
Oversee schools' compliance with certification and accreditation standards by creating and implementing necessary administrative policies. Utilize the Integrity Assurance Review (IAR) and Accountability Matrix to monitor adherence to quality standards, ensure corrective actions through improvement plans, and conduct regular site visits for ongoing compliance.
Offer leadership and support as a resource for site directors and principals on operational matters, emergency communication, and crisis planning.
Collaborate with the Senior Vice President of Operations to aid in the development and execution of divisional and company goals and objectives. Take part in division strategic planning activities.
Build and sustain relationships with related organizations, governmental agencies, and professional associations to coordinate and enhance administrative and educational services.
Maintain a strong alliance with the Arizona Charter Board Association and the Arizona Department of Education and ensure site level compliance with federal and state laws, guidelines, and regulations.
Perform other duties as assigned.
‖ Qualifications Required:
Master's degree or higher in education or related field.
Meet state teacher licensing and/or certification requirements.
Active school administrator and/or principal certification.
Minimum 5yrs prior experience teaching in a middle school, secondary, or adult education environment.
Minimum 2yrs prior school administration experience.
Minimum 5yrs prior experience overseeing multi-site and/or nonpublic/private programs.
Minimum 7yrs prior progressive management experience in school administration.
