**Senior Finance Analyst - Retail Trading Finance**
Retail Finance is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join the Retail Trading team, to understand performance and enable the business to respond to changes in the commercial environment through effective insight and analysis.
You will operate as part of a globally distributed team and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
**What youll do:**
* Provide trading updates for global EG Brands, explaining performance and identifying underlying drivers
* Monitor performance for key P&L metrics on a daily and weekly basis
* Influence senior stakeholders with compelling insights and effective presentation of results
* Perform deep dive analyses of key metrics to identify root cause of performance issues
* Develop insights on business performance to help drive operational changes
* Maintain an in depth understanding of the broader EG and competitive landscape
* Partner with teams across the organization to understand marketing activities and how they impact performance
* Support evolution of trading tools and processes; working on projects to drive improvements, standardize and automate reporting
* Collaborate across the Finance function to provide trading insights to the FPA and Brand Performance teams
**Who you are:**
* Excellent communication skills, producing concise and informative presentations to leadership
* Comfortable with ambiguity; ability to work with incomplete data or seemingly open-ended questions and translate into actionable analysis
* High level of intellectual curiosity that drives sense of ownership and desire for continuous improvement
* Strong spreadsheet skills and ability to work with large data sets
* High confidence in learning how to use new analytical tools (e.g. Microsoft Power BI, Tableau, Qlik)
* Results driven and highly motivated
* Able to lead and influence decisions across various internal functions
* Degree educated with excellent academic record and relevant professional experience
