PAY RANGE: $98,600.00 - $118,000.00 ANNUALLY
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:
The C-Suite Content Creator and Storyteller is responsible for collaborating closely with our C-suite Executives to articulate their vision, strategies, and initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a talent for crafting compelling narratives and distilling complex information into clear and engaging communication, presentations, and brand messaging. Exceptional writing and editing skills, along with a passion for storytelling and a keen eye for detail, are essential. Proficiency in presentation software tools and a commitment to staying ahead of emerging trends in communication technology are also required. Furthermore, the ideal candidate should demonstrate influence and effectiveness in a demanding environment, adept at managing competing priorities with grace and professionalism.
TASK, DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
Collaborate closely with C-suite Executives at the Credit Union to understand their vision, strategies, and initiatives, and translate them into compelling narratives and communication materials.
Create materials that emulate the distinct voice, style, and tone of each executive while maintaining close alignment to corporate strategy and business goals.
Develop high-quality board reports, presentations, and other written content that effectively communicates key messages ensuring alignment with Golden 1’s Core Values and Strategic Goals.
Distill complex information into clear and concise messages that resonate with various stakeholders, including board members, investors, employees, and external partners of the credit union.
Partner closely with PR agency of record to develop external outreach strategy for C-Suite Executives to continue strengthening Golden 1’s credibility, reinforcing our industry leadership, and building our brand.
Utilize storytelling techniques to create engaging narratives that captivate audiences, drive understanding key business initiatives, and demonstrate strategic alignment within the Credit Union.
Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in content creation and storytelling, continuously seeking opportunities to enhance skills and capabilities relevant to the Credit Union.
Demonstrate excellence in the use of presentation software tools, ensuring mastery of the tools used in this space within the credit union context.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Communications, and Creative Services, to ensure alignment and consistency in messaging and branding specific to the Credit Union.
Foster a positive work environment through skill development, coaching, and inspiration, aligned with our mission, vision, and values.
Perform other duties as assigned by relevant executive leadership and management.
PHYSICAL SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND EXERTION UTILIZED IN THE PERFORMANCE OF THESE TASKS :
Effective oral and written communication skills required to execute content creation.
Must possess sufficient manual dexterity to skillfully use computers, phones, software, and
various digital tools for content creation.
Typing and keyboard skills for writing and editing content.

EXTERNAL: Agencies, consultants, and external partners
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:
EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field preferably within the financial industry.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 8 to 10 years of relevant experience in content creation, corporate communications, or related fields.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
Proven experience in corporate communications or content creation, preferably at the C-suite level.
Proficient in storytelling techniques to create clear, compelling, and persuasive narratives and presentations that emulate the distinct voice, style, and tone of each executive while maintaining close alignment to business goals.
Exceptional writing and editing skills that ensure impactful content.
Experience working with senior leadership or within a corporate environment, understanding the nuances of executive communication.
Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a demonstrated of ability to adapt under pressure .
Proficiency in presentation software tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint, SharePoint, Google Slides, or Keynote.
Ability to work effectively in a demanding environment and manage competing priorities with grace and professionalism.
Digital agility and the ability to adapt to new technologies and platforms quickly.
Ability to translate complex ideas and strategies into clear and concise messaging.
Familiarity with industry trends and best practices in content creation and executive communication.
Strong people skills, collaborate effectively with senior leadership. Committed to high-quality work and service excellence for all stakeholders.
Meticulous with strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :
Prolonged sitting, using a computer throughout the workday with occasional mobility required.
Corrected vision within the normal range.
Hearing within normal range. A device to enhance hearing will be provided if needed.
Occasional overnight travel as required.
