Description Summary
The Marketing Coordinator plays a crucial role in supporting the mortgage marketing team by assisting in the development and execution of marketing strategies to promote mortgage products and services. This position requires a strong understanding of the mortgage industry, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with senior management. The Marketing Coordinator will contribute to the creation of marketing materials, coordinate and promote events, manage social media, track performance metrics, and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of marketing strategies to promote mortgage products and services.
Collaborate with internal teams, such as senior management and loan officers to gather information and create compelling marketing materials.
Coordinate and execute marketing events across various channels, including digital, print, and social media.
Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
Ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines, including Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA).
Conduct market research to identify target audiences, industry trends, and competitor analysis specific to the mortgage industry.
Assist in the planning and execution of mortgage-related events, seminars, and webinars.
Maintain marketing databases within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, including customer profiles and contact lists, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
Collaborate with external vendors, such as graphic designers and printers, to produce marketing materials.
Stay updated on mortgage industry trends, regulations, and best practices in marketing.
Requirements
Skills/Experience/Education
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
2 years of mortgage experience.
Proven experience in mortgage marketing or a similar role within the financial industry.
Strong knowledge of mortgage products, services, and industry regulations.
Proficiency in using marketing software and tools, such as CRM systems, email marketing platforms, and social media management tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for different audiences.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision making.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
Familiarity with mortgage-specific regulations, such RESPA, is preferred.
Essential Mental & Physical Requirements
Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions.
Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions.
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions.
