Marketing Technology Specialist
LOCATION:
Washington, DC (Hybrid - 50% remote. Must be onsite day 1)
DESCRIPTION:
Compass Pointe has partnered with a law firm in the Washington, DC area that is looking for a Marketing Technology Specialist. The Specialist is a key contact for publishing editorial content, including Advisories, Alerts, Newsletters, Blogs, and Client Announcements which are a critical and forward-facing component of the firm’s thought leadership. The Specialist will report to the Digital Marketing Manager and work directly with the Marketing Editorial Specialist.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Website posting, email creation and distribution, and internal communications of the firm’s steady stream of publications.
Use SEO strategies in writing to maximize the online visibility of firm editorial content.
Writing, copy editing, and posting of website content and gathering of analytics to measure engagement with and effectiveness of the firm’s content.
REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or English, required.
A minimum of 3 years of writing/editing experience, preferably in a professional services firm (ideally law firm) along with other marketing responsibilities.
A minimum of 2 years of website management (sitecore experience preferred) and email marketing experience (Vuture preferred) including experience in copy writing for SEO.
Proficiency in a range of website content management systems and email marketing systems. Vulture and Sitecore experience preferred.
Proficient in a range of computer software applications, website content management systems, email marketing systems, Google analytics, HTML, MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while exhibiting a strong attention to detail.
Knowledge of general marketing and business concepts useful.
Ability to work well under the pressure of deadlines required.
