What we get Research/strategy/data analyst experience in a marketing or agency environment
Power user of Microsoft Excel, and expertise with OfficeSuite applications including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
Some experience preferred in presenting data visually (diagrams, maps, newsletters, etc.)
Familiarity with Google Analytics and AdWords; Knowledge of SPSS or SAS a big plus; Adobe Analytics certification an asset
Multilingual capabilities an asset
4-year degree (communications, marketing, advertising, or related fields); Minimum 2-3 years of work experience. Equivalent work experience acceptable in lieu of formal degree.
Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-starter, entrepreneurial and self-sufficient with supervision.
Have a collaborative work style with strong desire to work in a dynamic, fast paced environment that requires flexibility, a strong ability to adapt, multi-task and manage multiple priorities at once

Responsibilities
Strategic Data Analysis, Research, and Insights: Translate market, competitive and industry data into compelling storytelling presentations with meaningful conclusions and recommendations
Act as power user of research tools including Hitwise, Netbase, comScore, eTelmar/Vividata, Google Analytics, GWI
Aggregating and analyzing marketing data from multiple sources (Google AdWords, Google Analytics, 3rd party tools, etc.) and distilling findings into useful insights
Ability to digest, compare, segment and cross-tabulate complicated data and synthesize it in a way that extracts insights to drive action towards client metrics and goals.
Build and assemble PowerPoint decks and presentation content using extracted insights from research data.
Some familiarity with brand strategy or theory an asset.
Examples of types of research/analysis/thought leadership include:
Audience analysis and insight: Demographic, geographic, psychographic, and behavioral research to develop detailed audience personas for clients. Includes cross-tabulating data from multiple sources to build a convincing story.
Competitive audits: Conduct analyses of multiple competitors to identify positioning, gaps, opportunities, and rankings.
Local market insights: develop comprehensive, hyper-local opportunity scorecards for clients based on competitive, demographic and consumer spending data analysis/insights
Social conversation analysis and insight: handle social media conversation audit requests and act as Netbase power user for social engagements or social pitches.
Thought Leadership and DAC Strategic Insights Team Support: Assist with the production of DAC thought leadership pieces, including, but not limited to white papers, original research and other thought leadership content; Develop POVs and participate as SME/write for DAC Blog initiative
Call Measurement practice/line of business - Owner/Operator of line of business across DAC Duties will include: RCF Lines ordering/renewal/troubleshooting
Customer service and consultation: Deliver excellent customer service to our internal clients (Account Teams) by being both proactive and responsive to all issues.
Systems and Applications: Ensure all internal and vendor systems, applications, reports, and technical industry information is understood and applied appropriately.
Vendor Liaison: Establish and maintain good working relationships with all Canadian and US call tracking vendors with whom DAC conducts business.
Quality Control: Investigate and resolve any call measurement line issues and escalate to the appropriate channel when required. Perform quality assurance queries to ensure data and test lines are accurate and working properly.
Reporting on strategic accounts using Conversation Insights; helping to identify growth in this area for other clients.
