JOB GOAL:
The Outreach, Communications, and Marketing Specialist s` responsibilities include data collection and analysis, representing our organization at trade fairs, organizing media events, fundraising, managing social media, and coordinating volunteer activities.
JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and maintain a network-wide outreach calendar/plan with input from academic and other departments.
Initiate and organize outreach services to local schools, businesses, community or government based organizations
Research and recommend best practices or innovative recruitment opportunities.
Analyze data to determine outreach and enrollment trends and outcomes.
Manage all MSE Schools social media accounts
Create marketing materials, promotional items, and in house visuals for MSE locations.
Represent MSE at community and outside organization functions including career days, special events and conferences. Attend after school/weekend activities as requested.
Prepare and deliver oral presentations regarding MSE academic programs and support services.
Welcome visitors and always be ready to represent MSE
Reach out to local, State, and National media and maintain strong relationships.
Handling public relations, such as developing strategic relationships, attending trade shows, and conducting informational presentations at universities and civic groups.
Develope press releases, brochures, and other marketing materials.
Develope and maintain the organization's website.
Organize outreach events, including sales, marketing, and planning, to promote the services of the organization and receive donations.
Collect and analyze data on local demographics, developing results, and presenting the conclusions to the relevant departments.
Advertise for, screening, and recruiting volunteers, providing them with training and support, tracking their performance, and keeping records of their activities.
Create activities to supplement and support staff needs.
Verify the volunteers' availability, receiving their feedback, recognizing their efforts, and answering their questions.
Perform administrative duties, such as overseeing mailings, organizing travel, monitoring budget information, and reporting on financial issues.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree is preferred
Related experience is preferred
Must be fluent in social media, Adobe, Microsoft Office, Canva, and other art platforms
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
Strong organizational and management skills
Must be physically and mentally able to perform the responsibilities and duties of the position

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light Work: may require occasional light lifting
Nights and weekend activities will be occasionally required
Position is in the office setting and may involve prolonged work at a desk in one location
Moderate travel is required
