Personal Injury Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Job Description Job Description Description: The Law Offices of Hassan, Hassan & Tuchman, PA is now hiring a legal assistant / paralegal to assist a busy personal injury legal practice. Hassan, Hassan & Tuchman, PA is an established client-focused Plaintiff's personal injury practice in the wonderful historic Bolton Hill neighborhood of Baltimore, Maryland near the Meyerhoff Symphony Hall, the Lyric Opera House, State Center, and the Fifth Regiment Armory.
Duties would include:
-Drafting and filing complaints in Circuit and District Courts;
-Drafting discovery requests and responses;
-Scheduling depositions and independent medical examinations;
-Providing excellent litigation support to attorneys;
-E-filing using MDEC;
-Coordinating service of process with process servers;
-Issuing subpoenas;
-Completing intake questionnaires for new clients, both in-person and on the phone;
-Assisting with telephone calls;
-Providing high level of customer service to clients; and
-Assisting with other office duties.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience with Plaintiff's personal injury litigation in district and circuit courts
- Great organizational skills
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
