COMPENSATION: $43k – 45k

ABOUT THE POSITION

The Customer Service Assistant Manager reports directly to the Customer Experience Manager and works closely with the Customer Experience Director, the Box Office, and Back of House team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible to work Venue Shows (at the Majestic, Empire, and The Espee) as the MOD in addition to administration duties.

Completes payroll for all ATG associates (experience guides, house managers, senior house managers and 3 rd party vendors (including security and SAPD).

Responsible for advancing all assigned events with tours in a timely manner.

Enter labor costs for assigned events.

Manage Theatre Services e-mail account and phone line; responds to Experience Guide and Ambassador inquiries within 72 hours of receiving.

Ensures all events are adequately staffed.

Hold FOH team members to the highest performance standard, providing coaching or disciplinary actions when necessary.

Be active and well-prepared with knowledge of the venue’s emergency procedures and work closely with management in case of an emergency.

Create a fun and vigorous work environment; inspiring and leading the FOH team while promoting respect and dedication in each team members work.

Maintains FOH supplies. Orders supplies as needed.

Coordinate training for all FOH team members.

Responsible for interviewing and hiring prospective for all FOH team members.

Assist with special events and projects as needed.

Assist with upcoming events while exercising utmost discretion.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Excellent personal communications skills with demonstrated ability to support a team

Excellent writing and organization skills

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, solve problems quickly and work well under pressure

Detail oriented, able to handle several tasks simultaneously

Willing and able to work nights, weekends, indoors and outdoors

Excellent Computer skills:  Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

Experience working in the arts or live entertainment a plus

Experience managing and overseeing an office a plus
