**POSITION DESCRIPTION**
The Warehouse Manager manages daily warehouse operations and provide assistance in all areas of the warehouse with respect to shipping, receiving, organizing, sorting and inventorying all items, food and nonfood. In addition, he/she supervises all necessary tasks pertaining to assisting in the day-to-day physical operations and appearance of SFBFS Distribution Center in accordance with local, state and Feeding Americas standards. This position also provides volunteer support, receiving support, equipment maintenance, supporting special events and attending distributions-when necessary.
The Warehouse Manager will perform the following job functions (including but not limited to):
* Daily supervision of Agency Shopping floor, coolers and freezers
* Supervision and management of warehouse staff
* Uses USDA Allocation worksheet to create order allocation for SFBFS agencies
* Manages warehouse activities and functions including:
+ Maintaining Agency Shopping area in a way that keeps available items stocked at all times, maintaining cleanliness, organization and rotation of cold boxes, assembles agency orders of items for delivery and pick up, maintaining cleanliness, organization and rotation of cold boxes
* Performs warehouse product movement and replenishment following established procedures with the use of forklifts, pallet jacks and tablet in warehouses
* Complete and maintain food handler certification
* Other duties as assigned
**SKILLS REQUIRED**
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Experience with basic computer programs and data entry requirements
* Food safety principles, practices, and regulations
* Forklift operation/certified
* Prior warehouse operations/inventory and supervisory/management experience
* Operate warehouse equipment in a safe manner
* Prior experience in food safety principles, practices, and regulations
* Bachelors degree - preferred

* Full-Time, exempt position (M-F), Food Bank Services campus
