Customer Service Representative

Location: St. Joseph, Gifford, Potomac, Thomasboro. You may float between branches when needed.
Hours: Monday-Friday: 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Saturdays when needed.
Part Time Hours: No more than 30 hours per week. Saturdays 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM when needed.
Job Description:
Provide effective and professional customer service when answering customer questions, issue resolution, and everyday transactions.
Answering and routing phone calls properly.
Balancing a cash drawer and vault on a daily basis.
Filling, balancing, and auditing ATM’s.
Having the ability to make good judgment on the validity of a transaction, keeping the Bank and customers best interest in mind.
Discuss, prepare, and process documents related to the Bank’s electronic banking services.
Understanding and promoting the Bank’s products and services when the opportunity arises.
Opening and processing new account transaction, such as: assigning account numbers, preparing all documents, obtaining necessary signatures, processing transactions, and more.
Travel is required in the event of meetings, additional help at another branch, trainings, etc.
Adheres to privacy requirements and maintains the confidentiality of customer information.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 3 years of related experience and/or training; or the equivalent combination of education and experience. Work related experience should consist of a financial institution operations, sales or customer service background. Educational experience, through in-house training sessions, formal school or financial industry related curriculum, should be business or financial industry related.
Intermediate skills in computer terminal and personal computer operation; basic understanding of mainframe computer system/network functionality; and word processing, spreadsheet and account opening software programs.
Effective organization and time management skills.
Basic math skills; add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals; locate routine mathematical errors; total currency, coin and negotiable instruments in a timely manner.
Current driver’s license and a vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage if required to drive in the course of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.
