What will you be doing in your role?
You will empower clients to aspire beyond self-sufficiency by conducting comprehensive intakes and assessments of client cultural adjustment needs to remove barriers to employment.
Provide career planning and navigation by developing, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating individualized service plans with each client, monitoring and evaluating client progress towards set goals, and adjusting plans as necessary.
You coordinate with other program staff to assist clients with job searches and applications by ensuring clients have the necessary skills and/or education to find and retain employment effectively.
You are a servant-hearted, efficient risk-taker who supports clients who want to surpass self-sufficiency.
You are passionate about using your skills to catalyze others’ success.
You conduct assessments to determine the barriers to employment and assist in setting achievable steps toward removing these barriers.
You prepare and maintain detailed case files, required forms, and reports.
You coordinate with other program staff to transport clients for job search, interview opportunities, and initially to the work site as needed.
You identify and develop resources necessary to ensure program and client success.
Are you the next Refugee Employment Case Manager?
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or a combination of education and experience.
Experience in job development and business networking with a working knowledge of for-profit corporate cultures preferred.
Familiarity with the refugee population and their needs.
Proficiency in Spanish or other refugee language is preferred but not required.
Must have reliable transportation, a current Texas driver’s license, and evidence of auto liability insurance.
Must be willing to drive a personal vehicle for job purposes.
Here's the Good Stuff...
Full-Time position with a starting hourly range of $20, based on minimum job requirements. Pay is determined by relevant experience, work history, education and internal equities.
