What will you be doing in your role?
Provide support to case management staff in assisting refugee clients. Communicate and collaborate to facilitate service delivery.
Communicate client/case observations and/or concerns to case managers.
Documentation duties including but not limited to: case noting, intake documentation preparation, completing, organizing, and maintaining case files in a timely manner.
Assist case managers in completing intakes with new clients, conducting home visits, donation deliveries, and providing informational sessions for clients.
Providing direct support to clients by assisting with appointments such as doctor appointments, public benefits offices, and job interviews.
Advocate for clients with service providers, agencies, and in the community.
WORK HOURS
Regular office hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Monday through Friday. This position may require flexibility to work various hours and possibly weekends depending on current program needs. This position requires a minimum of at least 10 hours per week, and at least one semester remaining.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This is a part-time un-paid position.

High School Diploma required
Must be pursuing a bachelor's degree
Must have reliable transportation, valid drivers license, and liability insurance
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
