Commercial General Contractor looking for experienced interior remodel superintendent. Residential construction experience does not apply to commercial construction experience. We are looking for a bulldog that knows the ropes. We are not looking to train a newbie.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3-5 years COMMERCIAL interior remodel experience.
- Dependability! We a looking for someone that stays at a job longer than a year or two at a time.
- Reliable transportation.
- Communication skills. You must be able to communicate with clients/subcontractors
- Computer skills: Word, Excel, Email, Dropbox, ETC.
- Ability to read/understand construction plans and submittals.
- Experience with city permitting process and inspections.
- Must have your own tools for general construction needs - ladder, drill, etc
Physical Requirements: At times superintendent will required to assist with the physical labor of construction site needs.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds (drywall/plywood)
- Must to be able to get up and down a ladder
- Must be able to carry materials from loading to service elevator then to job site.
- Must be able to work on your knees - superintendents at time have to install flooring protective coverings.
Full Time
Salary based on experience
Some weekend and night work depending on the job
