HAAS Alert, the company behind the industry-leading connected vehicle platform Safety Cloud, is hiring a full-time Director of Marketing to manage a critical company function and support our mission of building lifesaving mobility solutions to make roads and vehicles safer. As a dynamic and innovative Director of Marketing, this person will play a crucial role in driving growth and spreading our message in markets that matter. Your primary focus will be managing our lead generation efforts including digital and print advertising, email marketing, social media, landing pages and microsites, videos and podcasts, and industry events. As a team leader, you will oversee the workflows and efforts of experienced colleagues managing content marketing, community marketing, growth marketing, and events. In addition, you will coordinate oversight of key marketing platforms and tools including the company website, social media accounts, and other assets.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to the VP of Communications and Public Policy to set priorities and objectives, coordinate messaging and positioning, and drive executive support and partnership on key initiatives and campaigns.
Own a quarterly goal for lead generation across all direct sales channels and the responsibility for developing campaigns, strategies, and tactics to achieve it.
Develop and communicate comprehensive marketing and communications plans and strategies to drive engagement, adoption, and loyalty among each of the Company’s target markets including fleet customers, automotive customers, and other critical audiences.
Lead the strategic planning and execution of go-to-market plans, with a keen focus on identifying new market opportunities, customer segments, and pathways for customer acquisition.
Support sales team with lead generation campaigns and efforts leveraging a wide variety of tactics including digital, print, and other forms of advertising, email campaigns, customer and product content, webinars, in-person events, social media, and community marketing programs and strategies in order to create a sustainable pipeline of high-quality leads to support and accelerate growth.
Oversee the development, approval, and timely distribution of all marketing collateral and materials including social media content and videos, case studies and customer stories, Company newsletters and outbound communications, advertising campaigns, and website content.
Utilize a data-driven approach and a wide variety of tools including Hubspot, Webflow, Google Analytics, and Meltwater to measure and analyze campaign performance across all demand generation channels. Responsible for tracking key performance indicators (KPIs) such as lead generation, conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, and overall return on investment (ROI).
Expertly leverage a wide range of demand generation techniques and channels including search engine optimization (SEO), search engine marketing (SEM), account-based marketing (ABM), and programmatic advertising to strategically drive targeted engagement and high-quality leads.
Maintain, operate, and continuously enhance the Company’s website and social media platforms in close coordination with VP of Communications, Brand and Design, and other relevant internal teams and departments.
Manage daily workflows of the Marketing team in campaign planning, content development, event management, growth and analytics, and all other related processes and efforts.
Serve as the primary point of contact, manager, and decision maker for all internal company requests for Marketing support and materials.
Work closely with Brand and Design to create visually impactful campaigns, collateral, and materials, and ensure overall creative excellence.
Collaborate closely with the sales and RevOps teams to ensure a unified approach to lead generation and nurturing. This includes developing aligned goals, establishing lead scoring systems, and implementing lead nurturing strategies to effectively move leads through the sales funnel.
Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with marketing team members to guide their professional development and progress, ensure accountability around productivity and output, and address their concerns and questions.
Qualifications:
Located in Chicago, Illinois and willing to come into the office at least two days a week.
At least five years of demonstrated experience managing full-funnel marketing at a successful B2B startup with a proven track record of growth, innovation, and creativity.
Understanding of critical marketing concepts including lead funnel stages, conversion metrics, growth analytics and measurements, campaign mediums, and digital advertising terminology.
Must be adept at using analytics to inform strategic decisions and continuously optimize marketing efforts for better results.
Deep understanding of Hubspot and CRM best practices, considerations, and processes.
Experience in team leading, coupled with a strong ability to communicate and coordinate between teams to ensure marketing initiatives directly contribute to sales objectives.
Experience working directly with or in close collaboration with creative teams.
Positive references from previous employers, employees, and colleagues.
Absolute mastery of grammar, punctuation, and communication.
Willingness to travel (25%) for company events and trade shows.
