Responsibilities
MV Transportation, Inc. is seeking a dynamic and experienced IT Director to lead our organization's applications deployment/support and business systems teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a comprehensive understanding of IT applications, systems and processes, and a proven track record in managing complex IT environments that includes both cloud and on-premises environments. If you are a strategic thinker with a passion for leading high-performing IT teams and driving operational excellence, we invite you to apply for the IT Director position and contribute to the success of our organization.
Manage and lead an IT applications support and business systems team ensuring the overall availability and enablement of systems in support of our business and customers.
Foster a collaborative and innovative work culture.
Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities for team members.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, that include Infrastructure, Cybersecurity, IT Operations, and Service Management
Ensure applications align with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Enforce support processes for existing applications.
Partner with the IT Service Management leader to facilitate troubleshooting efforts and resolution of issues.
Ensure timely response to user inquiries.
Collaborate with clients and MV leadership to execute technology roadmaps.
Collaborate with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of services.
Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and automation.
Implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency.
Understand and participate in maintaining the organization's budget, but with a focus on identifying return on investment opportunities.
Drive and own actions and demonstrate accountability for successes and areas for improvement.
Qualifications
Talent Requirements:
Bachelor's degree or requisite experience.
Proven experience in a leadership role within IT operations.
Strong technical background with expertise in systems and network administration.
Excellent project management and organizational skills.
Solid understanding of ITIL and other relevant frameworks.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing technology landscape.
