to join our Printing Systems Division in Columbus, GA.
The position provides electrical engineering and controls expertise to sustain a quality and safety driven organization with a high demand product. Responsibilities:• Create robust and reliable electrical system designs in support of manufacturing processes• Programming and troubleshooting PLC, HMI & drives logic (GE, SIEMENS, Allen-Bradley, etc.)• Programming data acquisition systems (SIEMENS & General Electric)• Select, install, and set up instrumentation equipment• Develop and document designs• Influence project direction based on analysis and understanding of project facts• Implement new electrical technology, techniques, and concepts to enable functionality, simplify designs, improve reliability, and reduce overall manufacturing costs• Troubleshoot electrical system failures and implement resolutions to prevent recurrence• Present designs, projects, etc. to the Engineering, Operations, and the Management teams• Train and support maintenance Technicians• Participate as an active member of the Columbus Electrical Safety Team
