About the role:
We are seeking a dedicated, results-oriented Sales Manager reporting to the SVP of Sales at Helium10. As a Sales Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading our sales team to effectively promote and sell our solutions while increasing our user base. Your passion for sales management and your ability to have the sales team convert leads into loyal customers will be instrumental in driving the company's growth.
Responsibilities:
Establish sales objectives through a comprehensive forecasting process.
Adhere to annual sales quotas for specific regions and territories to align with company goals.
Maintain sales volume, product mix, and selling price by staying current with supply and demand trends, economic indicators, and competitor activities.
Establish and adjust sales prices based on cost analysis, competitor benchmarking, and supply and demand indicators.
Coordinate and oversee the sales team's activities by scheduling and assigning tasks while following up on work results.
Maintain and expand the sales staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training sales team members.
Project expected sales volume for both new and existing products, contributing to the company's strategic growth.
Skills & Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience within sales management.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey sales strategies and insights.
Proven experience in working with sales teams or sales representatives to meet a company's annual sales targets.
Ability to apply sales plans, ensuring they align with the company's objectives and goals.
Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales goals by consistently monitoring progress and adapting strategies.
Proficiency in analyzing sales data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
Strong presentation and analytical skills to communicate insights and strategies effectively.
Effective management and leadership skills to guide and motivate the sales team to success.
Ability to adhere to the annual budget and sales strategies while maximizing profitability.
Aptitude for mentoring and coaching sales representatives, helping them grow and reach their full potential.
