Job Description Job Description Our client, a Real Estate Development firm in Boston, is seeking an experienced Assistant Property Manager to handle the day to day operations of their new commercial building. This person will be responsible for maintenance of the physical appearance of the property, maintenance of occupancy standards at the highest level achievable, administration, provision of maximum level of service to tenants, promotion of excellent tenant relations, and reduction of excessive operating costs.
Job Responsibilities:
Assist in managing all aspects of a building’s occupancy and maintenance.
Communicate with tenants regarding property-related issues.
Coordinate with tenants and third parties to address maintenance and facility needs.
Collaborate with property management team to produce advertising materials.
Manage basic financial operations for the building, including budgeting and financial reporting
Coordinate with outside vendors
Contributes to team efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s degree in business, management or real estate preferred)
2+ years of related experience, ideally in Commercial Real Estate
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Detail oriented and highly organized
Strong customer service skills
Skilled in time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
