Job DescriptionJob Description Engineering Technician needed for a contract opportunity with Yoh Scientific’s client located in San Diego, CA.
This position will be for a major biotech company, and requires someone with a bachelor’s degree and minimum 2 years of experience in a manufacturing support or R&D laboratory setting.
Shift: Mon to Fri, 3rd shift
Key Responsibilities
Ability to effectively use basic test instruments, e.g. digital volt meter, oscilloscope etc
Ability to effectively use basic electro-mechanical hand tools
Build and test prototype instrumentation
Record data and test results
Manage and stock two prototyping laboratories
Qualifications
At least two years’ work experience in a manufacturing support or R&D laboratory setting, either assembling and testing instruments or machinery or diagnosing and repairing same
Machining/machine shop experience a plus
