Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and motivate a team of Account Managers to drive revenue growth, foster strong client relationships, and expand our market presence through top-down and bottom-up selling. This person has exceptional leadership skills, a proven track record in sales management, and a strategic mindset to optimize team performance.
Desired Outcomes:
Directly manage and coach a team of Account Managers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to achieve individual and team targets
Leverage sales methodologies, recordings and insights, and build a gold standard of best practices to regularly coach and enhance the skills and knowledge of the Account Managers, keeping them up to date on products and sales techniques
Develop and implement effective sales strategies, account plans, and expand solution offerings to meet and exceed sales goals, in alignment with company objectives
Foster and maintain strong relationships with key clients, identify new stakeholders, understand client needs, and ensure exceptional service delivery
Track and analyze sales metrics, regularly review performance, and take action to ensure targets are met
Work closely with other departments to align sales goals with overall company objectives
Prepare and present regular reports on sales performance, forecasts, and market trends to senior management
To be successful in this role one must demonstrate:
Ability to lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing sales team
Deep understanding of customer needs and the ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at presenting ideas, solutions, and data effectively
Consultative selling - ability to understand and align prospect needs and challenges to customized solutions
Ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization
Data-driven decision making
Collaboration – work effectively with other within sales and cross-functionally
Qualifications:
5+ years of successful sales experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field
Exceptional relationship-building skills
Track record of consistently meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs
Strong knowledge of sales processes and methodologies
Experience with CRMs and sales software (Salesforce, Hubspot, Zoominfo, Salesloft)
Must reside in the state of Texas
*This position is remote-first in Austin, TX, which means your primary workspace can be your home or the office. The Enterprise Sales team is required to be onsite every Wednesday.*
