About the Role

The Group Vice President of Operations is a key leadership role with a primary focus on overseeing and directing group operations through regional vice presidents. The incumbent is responsible for the development, review, and oversight of all group budgets, as well as for the profit and loss management of the group, ensuring optimal performance of facility operations to meet or exceed financial targets and key performance indicators. This includes a strong emphasis on running and growing the business through effective leadership and management of group operations, encompassing customer service, quality patient care, marketing, and financial management. The role also involves maintaining a strong compliance program, staying abreast of industry issues, and driving quality standards in line with regulatory requirements.Candidates for this position should have a Bachelor's degree in a healthcare or business-related field, with an advanced degree being desirable, and at least 8 years of experience in managing a business and leading large groups, particularly within a multi-facility healthcare network. The role requires demonstrated leadership competencies and skills, including financial acumen, operational excellence, communication, customer service, continuous quality improvement, relationship development, results orientation, team building, and decision-making. The Group Vice President will be accountable for the performance of the business plan and key performance indicators, and must be adept at training and supporting regional vice presidents in business goals and practices, as well as ensuring the adherence to all business policies, procedures, and systems, including ethical practices. Strong management skills are essential to provide leadership and supervision to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care across the group.
