Responsibilities
The Senior Database Administrator will manage and support the SQL landscapes within the environment
This role will coordinate and work with other team members on the technical design, development and ongoing improvements relating to our SQL needs
Demonstrate safety as a core value and establish a safe work environment by Setup and administering of high availability, redundancy, security ann and non-production environments
Monitor and respond to all issues to ensure success of all scheduled jobs
Execute database related activities for changes to all database objects primarily in OLTP designs
Performance tuning (SQL query, stored procedures & DB engine)
Must have python, Linux and shell scripting experience.
Must have data warehouse, ETL experience.
Must be proficient in T-SQL.
ssist development teams in creating database procedures and triggers
bility to identify production performance issues, blocking and deadlocks and long running queries
id with client problem escalation where applicable
Participate in our monthly release process
bility to effectively communicate and document designs, processes and work
Develop, document and institute best practice of performance monitoring of all relational databases
Must have experience and be available to provide support in a 24X7 environment.
