Job Description
Leads in the design delivery of human-centered design methods, user interfaces and digital media. The UX Designer works with the UX director in the production of interaction requirements, use cases, customer flows, navigation systems, page wireframes. To arrive at the final experience, the designer conducts stakeholder interviews, website reviews, content inventories, consumer research (via consumer definition, usability testing, tree testing, etc.). Through user-centered design and design-thinking methods, they identify design priorities, work through problem-solving scenarios, define interaction requirements and align them to short and long-term releases.
Required Skills
Proficient in the delivery of persona and journey definition, wireframes, interaction strategies, navigation, design systems, user research and usability testing
Proficient in UX practices and trends to lift usability performance
Applies customer-centric and data-driven methods to achieve desired objectives
Leads design workshops, defines design requirements, manages delivery expectations, communication, timelines, manage hours, etc.
Proficient with design programs such as Figma
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment to create top-performing interfaces
Proficient in design presentations and communication skills. (both written and verbal)
Clearly articulates thoughts; design decisions, trade-offs, and able to effectively present work
Creates sketches or screen layouts to communicate direction for the components of interface design
Takes notes and aligns designs to feedback and direction
Effectively delivers presentations for design reviews
