Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and creative Senior UX Designer to join our team and lead the design efforts for our web and mobile applications. As a Senior UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in crafting intuitive and visually appealing user experiences, leveraging your expertise in design tools, usability principles, and content creation. This job is remote and located in the U.S. and preferably in the EST time zone.
Responsibilities:
Lead the user experience design process, understanding user needs, and translating them into intuitive and engaging designs.
Create user personas, user journeys, and conduct usability testing to gather insights for design improvement.
Conduct user interviews and document findings to help product teams with requirement gathering process.
Utilize Figma as the primary design tool to create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs.
Work closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand business goals and user requirements.
Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders using Figma for design collaboration.
Design user interfaces for both web and mobile applications, ensuring a seamless and consistent user experience across platforms.
Optimize designs for various screen sizes and resolutions.
Collaborate with marketing and branding teams to maintain a consistent visual language across various touchpoints.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure the successful implementation of designs.
Advocate for usability and accessibility best practices in all design decisions.
Conduct accessibility audits and ensure designs are inclusive and compliant.
Qualifications
Requirements
5+ years of experience in UX design for B2B SaaS applications
Strong proficiency in Figma for wireframing, prototyping, and high-fidelity design.
Experience in commercial IoT applications for commercial deployments is highly desired.
Experience in conducting user research and user interviews is required. Proven experience in web and mobile design with a portfolio showcasing successful projects.
Expertise in creating and managing content for digital platforms.
Graphics design skills with proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools.
Solid understanding of usability principles and user-centered design methodologies.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
