We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Manager to join our fast-paced sales organization. This is a permanent, full-time role that offers an exciting opportunity to manage and oversee the entire accounts payable cycle in a rapidly growing sales environment. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing all aspects of accounts payable, including maintaining ledger accuracy, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments. Responsibilities
Oversee and manage the daily operations of the accounts payable department, including invoice processing, payment processing, and expense reporting.
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and completeness of entries.
Reconcile all accounts payable related accounts, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Develop and implement policies and procedures for the accounts payable department to enhance efficiency and productivity.
Manage month-end closing of accounts payable records, preparing relevant reports for senior management.
Maintain regular communication with vendors and suppliers, ensuring all payments are made on time and discrepancies are resolved promptly.
Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate and timely billing of products and services.
Provide training, guidance, and support to accounts payable team members.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and standards.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounts payable role, with at least 2 years in a managerial position.
Proficiency in accounting software, with a strong understanding of accounts payable processes.
Excellent knowledge of general ledger systems and procedures.
Proven ability to reconcile accounts with accuracy and efficiency.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage a team effectively.
Solid understanding of financial regulations and accounting principles.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
Proactive attitude with a focus on process improvement.
