Duties and Responsibilities:
Analyzes fiscal transactions to ensure conformity and compliance withaccepted accounting procedures and practices and the governing policiesand procedures as stated in each grant award. Trains staff inaccomplishment of varied accounting-related duties. Prepares andmonitors applicable grant budgets; monitors and forecasts revenues andexpenditures; and reviews, analyzes, and presents financial data,including revenue projections and expenditure reports to determinefunding requirements. Prepares financial statements, bankreconciliations, reports of operations, expenditure reports, statisticaldata, and other information concerning financial requirements; Maintainsvarious ledgers, journals, registers, and other fiscal records; Reviewsand processes expense vouchers, invoices, and other fiscal documents forpayment; reconciles various financial reports and other data concerningfiscal operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Financial Management, GeneralBusiness or related field required with at least three years experiencein accounting, financial management, or a related area.
Proposed Salary: Entry Level Salary of \$50,000 with full collegebenefits. ASU Mid-South offers a benefit package that includesretirement; health, life, dental & disability insurance; a flex benefitplan; and tuition waivers for employee and family.
