About the Role
The Company is seeking a Regional Vice President for Franchise Sales Development to join their Signature Brands team. This role is pivotal in achieving and surpassing growth targets by converting existing hotels and securing new construction projects for specific brands within the company's portfolio. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development of the Market Area Strategic Business Plan, executing sales strategies, and building a robust pipeline of prospective franchisees. This includes networking with industry stakeholders, managing the contract process, and ensuring brand identity compliance. The role demands a high level of industry and market acumen, with a focus on competitive and SWOT analyses, staying abreast of market trends, and actively participating in professional and industry groups.The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience, and a proven track record of 3-5 years' in hospitality franchise sales, hotel development, or real estate transactions. Alternatively, a history of successful business-to-business sales with a complex, multi-million dollar product or service is also acceptable. Proficiency in MS Office and CRM applications is desirable, along with strong negotiation, influencing, communication, and presentation skills. The role requires up to 75% travel and the candidate must either reside in or be willing to relocate to the specified geographic market area. The Regional Vice President will be an individual contributor, reporting to the Vice President of Franchise Sales Development, and will work remotely, connecting virtually with the team and leadership.
