About the Role
We are seeking a results-oriented, team-focused and mission-driven professional to join our team as the Director, Clinical Programs. The clinical programs team is responsible for partnering with the chief medical officer and working across the Hopscotch Primary Care team to define and build strategic clinical programs to achieve desired operational and financial outcomes.
Our ideal candidate will bring skill, tenacity and passion to play an instrumental role in strengthening the Hopscotch Primary Care business strategy, product roadmap and care model. The location of this role is in Chicago and is a hybrid position. Some travel to our clinic market placews will be required.
What You'll Do
The Director, Clinical Programs will play a critical role of defining key aspects of our care delivery model.
Specific responsibilities for this role will include, but are not limited to:
Provide leadership and expertise to identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes, patient experience and operational efficiency
Build deep understanding of care model and clinical operations
Challenge the status quo in search of creative solutions that produce disruptive results
Transform clinical concepts and ideas into well-defined workflows and policies:
Partner with clinical leadership and across Hopscotch broadly to define program parameters and objectives
Codify programs into step-by-step instructions and training materials
Build roadmaps for implementing programs
Define program success metrics and how progress will be monitored
Implement programs in clinics and monitor performance:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with providers, clinic staff and across Hopscotch team to enable trust.
Create role-specific end to end training programs and provide coaching
Monitor performance and make adjustments to ensure objectives are being met
Codify lessons learned and translate into broader implications for the clinical model
About You
You would be a great fit for this position if you have 6-9 years of experience working in clinical operations, business/operational excellence, and provider services, ideally with progressive models and you are:
Mission-driven and seek to serve patients and partner with providers to make lasting change in healthcare
Detailed knowledge of clinical operations, CLIA wavers, regulatory and compliance issues in an outpatient setting
Detailed knowledge of advanced, value-based care primary care models
Advanced management skills and able to drive execution against a roadmap
Results-driven and can focus time/resources against the most important priorities
Comfortable with ambiguity and can bring a structured, proactive approach to get things done and execute
Articulate and succinct with communication about complex concepts, verbally and in writing, and use synthesized communications to drive results From a cultural perspective, you are:

Clinical degree (BSN) required; Masters clinical degree preferred
