**Position Overview**
The Specialist, Catering Planning and Loading is responsible for data management, document manipulation and the distribution of loading diagrams for the catering department. This position is also responsible for calculating equipment usage to support forecasting needs, monitoring catering weight & balance changes & managing all aspects of the catering web portal, including facilitating communication of information via the portal and managing web portal access for internal/external partners.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Prepare, revise & develop all loading diagrams and carrier tags to support provisioning of supplies on Hawaiian Airlines aircraft
* Post content on HA Catering data management system (SharePoint website)
* Communicate galley packing information to all internal and external customers
* Prepare & maintain usage quantities of catering supplies to support Procurements reordering process
* Audit vendor kitchen performance for diagram packing compliance
* Coordinate all quality issues and trends relative to galley planning; communicate challenges and needs to the Product Manager, Service Strategy
* Review new opportunities for process improvement in this area that will enhance productivity and efficiency of galley planning as needed
* Other duties as assigned by Manager
**Minimum Requirements**
* High School Diploma or equivalent education
* Professional experience in document manipulation or data management
* AOA badge qualification
* Demonstrated ability to multi-task and manage tight deadlines
* Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, specifically high level in Excel skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications**
* Bachelors degree
* Experience in Airline and/or catering industry
